Artist's Statement

"Art has been at the center of my life from my earliest memory of drawing as a toddler, to my daily life today. I am an ardent art history student, particularly admiring the art of the Baroque era, and the art of the Impressionists of the 19th and 20th centuries. American art is so beautiful and important to me, and I love to see the works of my contemporaries whenever I can. I am so very grateful to have the ability to re-create some of the beauty of my world as paintings."
